Based on the popular Kannada narrative ballad, Kerege Haara, which glorifies the sacrifice of a young woman for the sake of her village and her heart-broken husband following her. Bhagirathi tells the story of our historic past and the superstitious beliefs that existed then. The filmmaker tries to give his audience a story of sacrifice through the feature.

12th Osian's-Cinefan Film Festival

The 12th Osian's-Cinefan Film Festival of Indian, Asian and Arab will be held in collaboration with the Government of NCT of Delhi from 27th July 27 to 5th August 2012 at the Siri Fort Complex and Osianama and Blue Frog at The Kila, New Delhi.
In its 12th year Osian's-Cinefan has finally chosen the turtle as its future symbol for a number of reasons, one key reason being that Delhi stands on the River Yamuna and the turtle happens to be her vahana (spiritual vehicle). Turtles also represent longevity and wisdom.
The exciting and eclectic programme will showcase the best of Asian, Arab and Indian Cinema, all within an all-embracing framework which focuses on our freedom of creative expression and thought. First Features and Short films will be given special platforms. The art of creating Animation films will be intensively discussed and the ingenuous works will be presented for both the young and old. Our new '7.4' section on Environment films will be a precursor of a summit on natural and manmade heritage.

Osian's-Cinefan will this year salute the memory of Mani Kaul. Mani had been Creative Director at Osian's since 2006 and was the Director General of OCFF 11 held in 2009. To mark the legacy of one of the most remarkable filmmakers of World Cinema, Cinefan will institute the Annual Mani Kaul Memorial Lecture. OCFF 12 will also hold a number of events that will celebrate not only his cinema but also his formidable contributions to music, literature and painting.

With the addition of our new space Osianama at the Kila and the Festival's collaboration with India's premier live music institution - The Blue Frog at the Kila we add an absolutely new dimension to the scope, range and fun possible at the festival.
The accompanying events at these venues will make the festival even more memorable, with live music from the finest bands of the world, hand in hand with our master classes, panel discussions, conferences and the constant interaction with filmmakers.
Further, as part of the Festival a new annual CINEFAN FILM MEMORABILIA AUCTION will be held focusing on the finest and rarest artifacts and publicity material from Hollywood and World Cinema, to be held on 31 July at The Osianama.
Also as part of the festival related events a major three-day Summit on 'Delhi: The Next Film City' will be organized. This summit is being held given the rapid developing interest of filming in Delhi.

ಟ್ವೆಲೋ ಕ್ಲಾಕಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅರ್ಲಿನೇ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಬಿಗಿನ್ ಆಯ್ತು! ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಡುಗ್ರು ಎಸೆಂಬ್ಲ್ ಆದಾಗ ರಾಘವ ಎಲ್ರನ್ನೂ ಕಾರ್ಡಿಯಲ್ ಆಗಿ ವೆಲಕಂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು. ಡೆಲ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾಯ್ಸ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಗರ್ಲ್ಸ್ ಯಾಕೆ ಗ್ಯಾದರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂತ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪ್ಲೇನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು. ಮತ್ತೆ ಶುರುವಾಯಿತು ಫನ್ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್. ಅದರ ಸಬ್ ಕಮಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಂದನಾ, ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟ್, ಶಾರ್ವರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೀಷ್!

ಫನ್ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಂನ ಫಸ್ಟ್ ಮೂಸಿಕ್ ರೌಂಡ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ನಡೀತು. ನೆಕ್ಸ್ಟ್ ಐಟಂ ಡಾಜ್ ಬಾಲ್! ಎಲ್ರಿಗೂ ನಂಬರ್ ಒನ್ ನಂಬರ್ ಟು ಹೇಳಿಸಿದ್ರು. ಒನ್ ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ರೂನು ಒಂದು ಬಿಗ್ ರೌಂಡ್ ಆಗಿ ನಿಂತ್ಕೋಂಬಿಟ್ರು. ಆ ರೌಂಡ್ ಇನ್‌ಸೈಡ್ ನಂಬರ್ ಟು ಹೇಳಿದವ್ರು ಜಾಯ್ನ್ ಆದ್ರು. ಆವಾಗ ರೆಫ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮನೀಷ್, ವಿಷಲ್ ಬ್ಲೋ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ರೌಂಡಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರತ್ರ ಬಾಲ್ ಥ್ರೋ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೇಳಿದ್ರು. ರೌಂಡಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಹುಡುಗ್ರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇನ್ಸೈಡ್ ಇದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಏಮ್ ಇಟ್ಟು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದೇ ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದು! ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಗೆಟ್‌ಟುಗೆದರ್ ನ ಐಸ್ ಬ್ರೇಕಿಂಗ್ ಈವೆಂಟ್ ಆಯ್ತು.  ಅದ್ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬಿಬ್ಬರು ವಿನ್ ಅಂತ ಡಿಕ್ಲೇರ್ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅವ್ರಿಗೆ ಲಾಸ್ಟ್‌ಗೆ ಪ್ರೈಜ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದ್ರು!!

ರೈನ್ ಬಾರದೇ ವೆದರ್ ಹಾಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು! ಸುಮಾರು ಒನ್ ಅವರ್ ಔಟ್ಸೈಡ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ಆಡಿ ಬಾಯ್ಸ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಗರ್ಲ್ಸ್ ಟೆರಿಬ್ಲಿ ಟಯರ್ಡ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು! ತಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ವಾಟರ್ ಎಂಪ್ಟಿ ಆಗಿತ್ತು! ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಗಿಟಾರ್ ಯಾರೋ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಐಸ್‌ಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತು! ಆದ್ಯಾರದೆಂದು ಗೆಸ್ ಮಾಡ್ಬೇಕಿದ್ರೆ ಅದು ಆರೆನ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರದ್ದು ಅಂತ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯ್ತು! ಈವೆಂಟ್ ಆರ್ಗನೈಸರಿಗೆ ಡಬಲ್ ಖುಷಿ! ನಂತ್ರ ಶುರುವಾಯ್ತು, ಒಬ್ರ ನಂತ್ರ ಒಬ್ರು. ಆರೆನ್ ಜತೆ ಗಿಟಾರ್ ಬಾರಿಸೋದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಂಗಿಂಗ್!! ಎಂಜಾಯ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು! ಲೇಟಾದ್ರೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಎಂಟ್ರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಔಟಿಂಗ್‌ನ ಟೆಂಪೋ ಸ್ಕೈ ರೀಚ್ ಆಗ್ಬೇಕ್ಕಿದ್ರೆ ಮನೀಷ್ ಒಂದು ರಾಪ್ ಸಾಂಗ್ ಹಾಡಿದ! ಸಿಂಧೂರ, ರಕ್ಷಾ, ಅಶೋಕ್, ಅಂಜನಾ, ಅರುಣ್ ಬಡಿಗೇರ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಅದರ್ಸ್ ಒಂದು ಮೆಮೋರೆಬಲ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕಲ್ ಈವೆಂಟೇ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ರು! ಮನೀಷ್ ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಕ್ಸೈಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ. ಆರೆನ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಜತೆ ಸಾಂಗ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಟೆಂಪೊರರಿ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಗ್ಯಾದರಾದ ಎಲ್ರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಕೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ಲೋಟ್ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ!!

ಕೇಟರರ್ ಸುರೇಂದ್ರಣ್ಣ `ದಾಲಾ ಮಂಡೆ ಬೆಚ್ಚ ಮಲ್ಪೊಡ್ಚಿ!' ಎಂದು ಅಸ್ಯೂರೆನ್ಸ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೋಡಿ ಫುಡ್ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರೆಗೆ ಸಪ್ಲೈ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತ ಫನ್ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್ ರೆಡ್ಯೂಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಫುಡ್ ಸಪ್ಲೈ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ತ್ರೀ ಆಕ್ಲಾಕಿಗೆ! ಬಟ್ ಟೈಂ ವೇಸ್ಟ್ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ನೈಟಿನ ಅಮೇಜಿಂಗ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪೀರಿಯನ್ ಶೇರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟ್, ಸುಖೇಶ್, ಪ್ರದೀಪ್, ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್! ಜತೆಗೆ ಡೆಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಂತ್ ಆದವರಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಸಿಕ್ಸ್ ಯೀಯರ್ ಆದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪೀಯರೆನ್ಸ್ ಶೇರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು! ನವೀನ್ ಸಾಗರ್, ಅರುಣ್ ಬಡಿಗೇರ್, ತನುಜಾ, ಮಹೇಶ್, ಚಂದ್ರಮೋಹನ್, ರಾಘವ, ಮಾರುತಿ, ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಎಲ್ರೂ ತಮ್ಮೂರಿನ ಮೆಮರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡೆಲ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಗುವ ಫುಡ್ ಪ್ರಾಬ್ಲೆಂ ಕುರಿತು ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪ್ಲೈನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು! ಜತೆಗೆ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ಅದು-ಇದು ಅಂತ ಮಾತಾಡಿದ್ರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಜೋಕ್ಸ್ ಪಾಲ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ರು!

ತ್ರೀ ಆಕ್ಲಾಕ್‌ಗೆ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ ಆದ ಫುಡ್ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಎಲ್ರಿಗೂ ಲೈಕ್ ಆಯ್ತು. ಪೂರಿ, ಬಿರಿಯಾನಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ವಿಕ್ ಆಗಿ ತಿಂದ ಬಾಯ್ಸ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಗರ್ಲ್ಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಡಿನೇಟರ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಲೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರೋಕೆ ಆರ್ಡರ್ ಕೊಟ್ರು! ಎಲ್ರೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಡಿಸಿಪ್ಲಿನ್ ಆಗಿ ರಿಲಾಕ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿ ಕೂತ್ಬಿಟ್ರು! ನಂತ್ರ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಇಂಟ್ರೋಡ್ಯೂಸ್ ಮಾಡೋ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಂ! ಒನ್ ಬೈ ಒನ್ ಎಲ್ರೂ ಬಂದು ಅವ್ರವ್ರ ನೇಟಿವ್ ಪ್ಲೇಸ್, ಡೆಲ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಕ್ ಮಾಡೋ ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ರು. ಮೈಸೂರು, ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಬಿಜಾಪುರ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಕೊಡಗು, ಉಡುಪಿ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಡಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ಟ್ ಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ರು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಅವ್ರದೆಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡೂ ಡಿಫರೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು!  ಐಟಿ, ಇಂಜಿನೀಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಂಪನಿ, ಮೀಡಿಯ, ಆರ್ಮಿ, ಏರ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್, ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಗವರ್ನ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಜಾಬ್ ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರ ವರ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ಏರಿಯಾ ಕೂಡಾ ಡಿಫರೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು!

ನಂತ್ರ ಹೌಸಿ ಹೌಸಿ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್. ಮಿಡ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟ್ ಒನ್ ಮಿನಿಟ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು! ನಂತ್ರ ಪ್ರೈಜ್ ಡಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿಬ್ಯೂಶನ್! ಸುಸ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ರೂ ಇವಿನಿಂಗ್ ಸಿಕ್ಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಾ ರಿಟರ್ನ್ ಆದ್ರು. ಬಟ್ ನಂತ್ರನೂ ಎಲ್ಲ್ರೂ ಎಂಜಾಯ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಶೇರ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ರು! ಅಲ್ಟಿಮೇಟ್ಲಿ `ಯುವ ಮಿಲನ'ದಲ್ಲಿ ಹ್ಯಾಪಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಂಜಾಯ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೋರ್ ದ್ಯಾನ್ ಒನ್ ಹಂಡ್ರೆಡ್ ಬಾಯ್ಸ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಗರ್ಲ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ ಒನ್ ಮೆಮೋರೇಬಲ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಗ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಸಕ್ಸೆಸ್ ಈವೆಂಟ್ ಆಯ್ತು!
