Avanindranath’s literary criticism ‘Samskriti Samveda’ released

                        
Delhi based Kannada writer Dr. Y. Avanindranath Rao’s book on literary criticism ‘Samskriti Samveda’ released at Delhi Karnataka Sangha recently.

Releasing the book Dr.Venkatachala Hegade, Professor in Jawaharlal Nehru University said that the writing criticism needs a kind of devotion and Dr.Rao’s book made a critical insight into a few important literature.

Author Avanindranath said that the ultimate purpose of literary criticism is attaining the knowledge by understanding the literature and hoped his book may well received by the readers.   
The versatile Indian dance performer Devika Rao from United Kingdom participated as special guest on the occasion.  President of Delhi Karnataka Sangha Vasantha Shetty Bellare preside over the function.

The book ‘ Sanskriti Samveda’ contains  fourteen critical articles includes  on the epic ‘’Shri Ramayana Mahanweshanam’’ written by Poet and Politician Dr. M. Veerappa Moily,  Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Geetanjali’ and a perspective on Karnataka history. Well known critic Dr.Purushottama Bilimale in his review observed that the book consisting diversified elements on Art, Literature and History.

In the Preface Eminent Kannada scholar Professor Sa.Shi.Marulayya described Avanindranath as ‘Savya Saachi ’. Dr.Avanindranath Rao is a senior officer in Central Secretariat Library under Ministry of Culture, New Delhi. The book ‘Samskriti Samveda’ was published by Sapna Book House, Bengaluru.
