59th National Films Awards



The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Smt. Vidya Balan has been named as the best actress in the 59th National Films Awards for her brilliant portrayal of Silk Smitha in last year’s blockbuster ‘The Dirty Picture’.
Marathi actor Girish Kulkarni has been adjudged as the best actor for the film ‘Deool’.
The jury, consisting of actress Rohini Hattangadi amongst others, announced the winners on Wednesday in New Delhi.
