V.N. Subba Rao Remembered by his ‘Blue-Eyed Boys’ in New Delhi

Veteran Journalist V.N. Subba Rao (81) who breathed his last on Tuesday morning at the M.S. Ramaiah Hospital in Bangalore was remembered by journalists and their associates at a meeting held in New Delhi on October 10, 2012.
New Delhi based political commentator A. Surya Prakash and the resident editor of The Week in New Delhi K.S. Sachidananda Murthy, the two blue-eyed boys of late Rao joined with among others Member of Parliament H Vishwanath, journalists B.S. Krishna Prasad, Girish Nikam, D. Umapathy, B.S. Arun, Pushpa Girimaji, Vishwanath Kulkarni, Baikere Nagesh, Brijesh Kalappa remembered the former chief reporter and chief of bureau of Indian Express, Bangalore and mentor to hundreds of young journalists.

  1. Though I was not a journalist,I had the opportunity to meet Mr Subba Rao many times.I was impressed by the way his contemporaries and juniors held him in high esteem.
