MOHAIR's Diary : My School Day

As alumni of Delhi Kannada Sr. Sec. School, it was a great moment for me to witness the golden jubilee annual day function held at the school recently. More memorable as we could meet and interact with our teachers and also students who are currently studying at the school. We being former students are revered by those guys!
The event started with Saraswati Vandana invoking the goddess of learning, welcome song and lighting of ceremonial lamp. Mr. K.G. Bopaiah, Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly and Dr. Venkatachala Hegde, President of DKS inspired the students with their learned speeches. Hard work by the teachers, students, staff and managing committee could be felt in the very best programmes presented during the celebrations.
Alumni Association was also keen to help the school and look forward for the betterment of the students studying in the school.
